He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and a Ph.D. in Energy from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a sandwich program at the Institute of Solar Energy at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (IES-UPM). Director of the Brazilian Solar Energy Association (ABENS) and coordinator of the 11th Brazilian Solar Energy Congress (CBENS 2026). He is active in research, development, and outreach, having participated primarily in strategic R&D and energy efficiency projects for companies in the electric power sector. His research and professional work focus on topics related to distributed and centralized electricity generation using photovoltaic and hybrid systems, as well as energy efficiency applied to the built environment.

Vinícius Augusto de Oliveira holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia and a technical degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Triângulo Mineiro. He works at the Energisa Group in the Operations, Planning, and Data Analysis department, focusing on post-operation analysis, performance, and continuous improvement of solar power plants. He currently oversees the performance monitoring of a portfolio of more than 120 photovoltaic plants, with a total installed capacity of over 400 MWp. His work involves monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing operational variances, evaluating generation efficiency, and supporting decision-making by integrating data, operations, and strategy to improve the performance of solar assets.
